Who we are

  • We, i.e. the Marc O'Polo Legal Department, are a small, well-rehearsed team of currently four members who value and support each other.

WHAT YOU CAN CREATE

  • You will support the Legal Department in all operational and organisational tasks.
  • You are the first point of contact for colleagues from the specialist departments for legal issues of all kinds. You coordinate legal enquiries and are responsible for the underlying process.
  • You support the creation of standard contracts, documents and legal guidelines in all relevant legal fields.
  • You will carry out legal research and analyse relevant legislation, judgements and regulatory developments.
  • In addition to internal communication, you will also correspond with contractual partners, authorities and external law firms.
  • You will create and maintain internal databases, the contract management system and summaries on legal topics.
  • You will assist in the management and follow-up of ongoing legal cases, including monitoring deadlines.
  • You will actively participate in training courses to continuously expand your legal expertise and keep it up to date.
  • You will have ideas, help shape new legal processes with the legal team and support them through to implementation.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have a Bachelor of Laws degree, the First Legal Examination or a comparable qualification.
  • You have already gained your first professional experience in a legal environment, preferably in an international company.
  • You have a quick grasp of things, work in a structured manner and enjoy taking responsibility for your own work.
  • You have a confident demeanour and are a strong communicator, also in English.
  • You are a team player, have a pragmatic approach and are interested in an exciting position in an international and agile environment.
  • ‘You are enthusiastic about legal tech and have an affinity for IT-based tools.

Mobile Office & Flex Work

Freedom to Flexwork. This is what we mean by flexible working, a hybrid model of mobile office and on-site work. This means you can spend up to 50% of your monthly working time at a work location of your choice. Whether in the mobile office or in over 45 co-working locations across Germany. Face-to-face meetings and events on campus promote togetherness during the rest of the time. With a wide variety of working time models, we go one step further and offer you maximum flexibility. Through "temporary part-time", for example, you can switch to part-time for a certain period of time to gain more free time or to dedicate yourself to other topics in your life.

Workation in Europe

Our "Work from Abroad" programme offers even more freedom. Mobile office with sea breeze or mountain air? Why not give it a try? At Marc O’Polo you can work up to 20 days per year from any European country of your choice.

Trainings, e-learnings & development programmes

Actively shape your path with us. The Marc O’Polo training concept is hybrid. With our Marc O’Polo University, we offer you a wide range of further training in the form of classroom training and e-learning (in several languages). Whether team workshops, language courses or knowledge about sustainability—take your pick! To make your start with us as easy as possible, we offer mentoring—your "O'Friend" will support you with all your questions. You want more? We offer you the opportunity to grow with us, whether as a expert or manager.

Wellpass, free sport offers & health support

Whether yoga, strength training, meditation or climbing - we support you wherever we can through company health promotion. Marc O’Polo subsidises the EGYM-WELLPASS company fitness network. For only 29,90€, EGYM-WELLPASS gives you access to over 6,500 sports facilities in Germany and Austria. Or you can simply take advantage of our wide range of sports facilities right on campus, such as our free e-bikes and SUPs. Your well-being is close to our hearts. That's why our employees can take advantage of confidential and free counselling from our partner INSITE for professional and personal concerns.

(Charging) Parking, shuttle & bike leasing

We want to make the journey to work as comfortable as possible for our employees. With the Marc O'Polo shuttle bus, you can travel from Rosenheim train station to the headquarters in the morning and back again in the evening. If you are travelling by car, there are parking facilities and sufficient e-charging stations directly on the campus. There is also our bike leasing offer, where you can take out a subsidised leasing contract for a bike of your choice. This way, you can also travel shorter distances in an environmentally friendly and sporty way.

30 days of holiday & special leave

Our employees are entitled to 30 days of holiday per year. Marc O’Polo also offers you additional days of leave for special occasions in your life, such as a move or your own wedding. There are also sabbaticals or flexication. This means you can apply for up to 20 additional, unpaid days of leave per calendar year. This allows you to leave work for a while, e.g. to travel the world or to spend time with your family. You can also use the Marc O’Polo Mountain Lodge in the Thierseetal (Austria) for private events in your free time.

Bistro, free drinks & snacks

Your physical well-being is not neglected either: our in-house Marc O’Polo BISTRO' ensures a balanced diet, offering you a large selection of healthy, fresh dishes with regional ingredients every day, from breakfast to afternoon snack. Coffee and tea are available free of charge at all times

Support for families and carers

We are convinced that work and private life must be compatible. Marc O’Polo offers you different working time models, 50% mobile office and up to 20 additional days of holiday for maximum flexibility. You can also develop as a manager or expert in part-time! Our EAP provider INSITE supports our parents and carers wherever they need help, e.g. in finding care solutions. To make it easier for you as a family to return to work, we offer a subsidy for childcare under certain conditions, as well as a summer children's holiday programme. For short-term childcare problems, our lovingly equipped parent-child office is there for you.
